Automated AGV Air Shower Interlock System
Engineered for unmanned cleanrooms and smart manufacturing facilities, this system seamlessly integrates high-speed roll-up doors with Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) to ensure contamination-free material transport without human intervention.
Automated Operation Flow

Approach & Request: When the AGV approaches the entrance, it transmits an entry request to the air shower PLC via wireless communication (Wi-Fi, optical signals, or dry contacts).

Clearance & Transit: The PLC verifies cleanroom status, unlocks the entry high-speed door, and returns a “Safe to Enter” clearance signal to the AGV.

Decontamination Cycle: Once the AGV is fully inside, the entrance door closes and electronically interlocks with the exit door. HEPA-filtered, high-velocity air nozzles automatically activate to decontaminate the vehicle and its cargo.

Exit & Line Continuation: After cycle completion, the exit door rolls open, signaling the AGV to drive into the cleanroom area and resume its delivery route.
